Crested Butte, CO is a quaint little mountain town in southwest Colorado, 28 miles north of the City of Gunnison. Its the 8th largest historic district in the State of Colorado. Elevation is 8885 feet. It it well known for abundant skiing and the annual Wildflower Festival. These images are from various areas where the wildflowers are in full bloom. Areas include Mt. Crested Butte, Lake Irwin and the Ruby Mtn Range, Emerald Lake, Kebler Pass, Judd Falls & Copper Creek hiking trail, Brush Creek, Gothic Road, Woodswalk, Lower Loop trail and various other nearby areas, including scenics from nearby Gunnison, Washington Gulch, Castle Mountain and Ohio Creek Road.
