The Loch is short for Lochvale, another lake surrounded by mountains in Rocky Mountain National Park. A hiking trail that can be reached from the Glacier Gorge - Mills Lake junction or the back trail down from Lake Haiyaha. A very scenic hike that runs alongside of a waterfall and stream. When you reach the lake - you can loop right and hike around the lake to Sky Pond or Andrews Glacier or if you loop left at the rock outcroppings, you will see the small backwater pond shown here as well.
