Mesa Verde National Park is located near Cortez, CO.  There is a full day's worth of activities to see and do.  Some are free while others are guided tours.  Our photos were from driving from point to point to see the cliff dwellings.  There is the Spruce Tree House which is free and you can walk around - also there are ladders leading to underground rooms that you are permitted to see.  The Balcony House appears to be one of the larger cliff dwellings as is Cliff Palace.  The Sun Temple was interesting, although it could not be viewed from inside.
