A portion of the camel's hump to the right of the Kissing Camels rock formation became loose and unstable and had to be removed. Balanced Rock, Tower of Babel, Cathedral Rock, Three Graces, Sleeping Giant and Siamese Twins also provide some unique and distinct rock formations. Another popular hiking area nearby to Garden of the Gods is the Red Rocks Canyon off highway 24 in Colorado Springs.
